Difference between robotics and automation.
Difference between robotics and automation.
Robotics involves the design, creation, and use of robots, which are intelligent machines capable of performing tasks autonomously or semi-autonomously. Automation refers to the process of using technology to automate tasks, reducing or eliminating human intervention. While robotics often encompasses automation, automation doesn’t necessarily involve robotics and can refer to any mechanism that reduces human involvement in a process.
The terms “automation” and “robotics” are sometimes used interchangeably, but there are minor differences between the two. Automation is the process of using technology to complete human tasks. Robotics is the process of developing robots to carry out a particular function.
