1NF: Ensures atomic values in each column, eliminating data duplication. 2NF: Requires non-key attributes to be fully dependent on the entire primary key, eliminating partial dependencies. 3NF: Ensures non-key attributes depend solely on the primary key, eliminating transitive dependencies.
